Peaches & Plums Look Promising for Breast Cancer

ScienceDaily (June 2, 2010) — Breast cancer cells — even the most aggressive type — died after treatments with peach and plum extracts in lab tests at Texas AgriLife Research recently, and scientists say the results are deliciously promising.   3. This is really timely for me — A very close friend and mentor of mine was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She was describing some of the research she had recently read on nutrition for people going through chemo (she’s a real research nerd…); it seems like diet can have a huge impact on the body’s reaction to chemo.

  4. I believe it! I wonder how many more natural resources there are that can also help cure cancer. I wish more people knew about this.
