/ August 12, 2010I L.O.V.E ginger and use it as often as possible in tea + lemon and stirfries.
It’s a fantastic addition to chicken soup + chilli + garlic as a great anti-viral aid for colds.

PS: I’ve also come to love ginger-haired people as I now have strawberry-blonde and auburn-haired step-children!

/ August 13, 2010I used to be so good about always having ginger root in my apartment to add to things, but that was back when I shopped at the Trader Joe’s in Foggy Bottom and I would always see it. Now that I’m shopping at Whole Foods and Giant in Clarendon I haven’t seen it, although, admittedly, I haven’t really been looking.
I guess I’ll start with the ginger tea and hopefully I’ll spot some fresh ginger at the stores very soon. :)
