Here are several relatively easy ways to maintain and improve breast health:
- Exercise!
- Maintain a healthy weight – obesity and breast cancer often go hand and hand
- Eat more fruits & veggies
- Limit alcohol consumption
- Avoid exposure to radiation
- Have babies and nurse them – pregnancy and breastfeeding lower the levels of estrogen in the bloodstream and therefore decrease your risk of breast cancer
- Minimize your use of antibiotics
- Drink more green tea
- Avoid or discontinue long-term Hormone Replacement Therapy
- **Avoid toxic cleaning and beauty products
- Go organic more often, especially when it comes to these fruits & veggies

/ October 28, 2010Thanks. Breast cancer (like any cancer) is scary… an ex-colleague had to go through chemotherapy and shaved off all her hair… seeing her with a wig kind of freaked me out, I couldn’t believe it had happened to her.
