Happy Friday everyone! As many of you are probably looking forward to a relaxing and tasty cup of coffee tomorrow morning, here’s a little tip — if you use a drip coffee maker, be sure to use non-bleached filters. The bright white ones (which most people use) are chlorine bleached and some of this chlorine will be extracted from the filter during the brewing process!
So instead, opt for healthier filters that are chlorine-free (and often brown like the one pictured here) and keep your morning brew on the up and up. Bonus points for drinking organic ;)
