The Water Method

If you’re a lover of avocados then you’ll appreciate learning (or being reminded) that cold water can help keep avocados from turning brown!

So whether you’re making guacamole or just slicing up the delicious fruit to eat by itself, once you cut the avocado in half either immediately immerse it in ice cold water or run it under the faucet. This method keeps oxygen out and hence prevents that yucky browning that naturally occurs.

If you have leftover raw potato.. anything without sugar..put it in glass jar .. fill with (I use spring) water and put the lid on and it will keep for about a week..that way.. just don’t freeze it that way.. it will break..:)
