Hello! Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great start to the week. For me, the past fews days have been filled with packing. We’re not leaving DC, but moving to a new place. I drastically underestimated how stuff we had to pack (I think that’s typical?). Little by little, we’ve gotten rid of so many things, but we’re amazed at how much is still left. I’m really looking forward to Wednesday when we’re 100% in our new home!
In addition to the move, I’ve been meaning to tell everyone some other exciting news… I’ve previously mentioned a relatively new company called blissmo, which is an amazing site for finding and purchasing the best organic and eco-friendly products at up to 70% off. Well, I’m very excited to announce that I recently became one of the blissmo curators helping to find the fab lines and products being featured on a daily basis! (That’s me bottom left)
Have a great rest of the week (in case I’m not back from unpacking before it ends)!
And the winner of the My True Nature giveaway is Isabel from Walk of Fashion! Congrats Isabel!! :)
FYI – today’s blissmo deal is $44 worth of Enzoskin for only $19! My readers can receive an extra 5% off of this toxin-free cosmetic and skincare company when they enter code “trybliss” at checkout.
For starters, I would love to try their Coffee & Cream Soap ~ soothing and nourishing goat milk soap infused with blend of coffee bean butter, cocoa and organic ground coffee. Doesn’t that sound great?
Today’s giveaway introduces 2 things I’m really excited about: (1) Blissmo & (2) My True Nature. If it isn’t already, Blissmo.com will soon become your go-to site for finding and purchasing the best organic and eco-friendly products around at up to 70% off! On a daily basis, they feature awesome lines and deals like today’s: 50% off of baby products by My True Nature.
A 100% natural and organic line, My True Nature is a perfect start to every baby’s beautifying routine, and it’s especially perfect for sensitive skin conditions. But I wouldn’t say it’s just for kids. With products rich in organic botanicals like aloe, plantain and white peony tea extracts, adult skin (especially sensitive) will love it too!
In addition to letting you know about today’s 50% off deal, I’m also doing a giveaway! The winner will receive this combo gift set, which includes a 12oz bottle of Bobo’s Bubble Bath and an 8oz bottle of Milo’s 2-in-1 Shampoo/Body Wash. It’s a perfect introduction to the line for yourself or someone you love (adorable baby shower gift).

I recently discovered this site called Health Designs and decided to place a rare online order. I have to say that I am loving this site now for two main reasons: (1) the wonderful selection of some of the best natural health and beauty products and (2) the awesome prices. I found so many of my favorite brands at the lowest prices I’ve seen. Love that and love how you get to pick an unlimited amount of available free samples!
I’ve never been one for online shopping, but this is one website that makes me want to skip the health store. Shipping is currently free on First Class USPS orders over $25 and it’s just so fun to see how much you can put in your shopping cart for that price point (my order below). Also, if you’re a first time buyer use Discount Code FTC5DO to get $5 off your first order. Writing this post is really making me want to place another order today! I highly suggest checking them out – healthdesigns.com
This is exactly what I got for $25:
- Avalon Organics, CoQ10 Facial Cleansing Milk 8.5 fl oz
- Yogi, DeTox Tea 16 Tea Bags
- Now Foods, Unsweetened Medium Coconut 10 oz
- ShiKai, Hand & Body Lotion Honeysuckle 8 fl oz
- Chandrika, Ayurvedic Soap 2.64 oz
- Queen Helene, Aloe Deodorant 2.7 oz
- 6 free samples (like Nordic Naturals, DHA Sample Pack 500 mg Strawberry 2 softgels)
In a previous post, I talked about the drinkable form of Sibu Beauty, which is not only an excellent beauty-enhancing product, but it actually tastes good too. Now after trying several of their topical products, I wanted to share my thoughts with you lovely ladies.
Well first off, everything is paraben-free and cruelty-free. In addition, none of their products contain dairy, wheat, gluten, sodium, yeast or preservatives. The main ingredient in this line is the super berry sea buckthorn, which is sourced through fair trade agreements with local harvesters in Tibet (an effort the Dalai Lama has taken notice of).
My favorite product of theirs right now is the Sea Buckthorn Age Defying Eye Cream, which features sea buckthorn and pumpkin seed. This botanical blend is the perfect trifecta – it reduces puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. Personally, I often find that eye creams seem to irritate that ultra sensitive area, but I’ve been using this one for weeks with no complaints. It’s a perfect consistency, easily absorbs into the skin and as with most eye creams, a little goes a long way. I’m so happy to have found this eye cream because I was getting concerned after so many natural eye creams irritated me!
Has anyone tried any of Sibu’s products yet?
Check out their current sweepstakes & gift redemptions (currently, they’re offering a FREE full-sized Sea Buckthorn Oil Treatment Serum at GNC stores after sending in the provided rebate form)
Some of the basics & benefits of yogurt:
- If you want to avoid high sugar content just go with plain! Even the plain varieties naturally have 12 g of sugar. The sweetened have up to 35 g!
- Greek yogurt, which is much thicker, can contain up to twice the protein of a non-Greek brand, but it has less calcium.
- Yogurt contains probiotics, which is healthy bacteria. Probiotics are linked with a healthy digestive system and a stronger immune systems.
- Do not drain out that top watery layer! That liquid is pure protein (specifically whey protein).
- Some of my favorite additions to plain yogurt: a drizzle of honey (a prebiotic which encourages the activity of probiotics), walnuts, fresh berries, sliced banana, and wheat germ.
- Since yogurt has probiotics, a lot of people that are lactose intolerant do not have issues with consuming it!
Here are some coupons & discounts from one of my favorite brands: Stonyfield Farm
Don’t miss the many deals (like $50 spa treatments) being offered between April 12-18! For more info and deals in your area: Spa Week

Once I drank organic milk (many years ago), I really never considered going back to drinking non-organic milk. The difference between a glass of regular whole milk and organic whole milk is just so undeniably different. A glass of whole organic milk is so delicious and creamy, it really tastes like a treat. Even the non-fat, 1%, or 2% organic milks are so much better tasting and creamier than regular versions. Personally, I always felt like I was drinking a mix of water and milk when I drank a lot of common brands of non-fat milk. But that’s just me. One of my favorite organic milks is produced by Organic Valley.
This is a great company that also makes organic soy milk, organic lactose free milk, organic butter, and organic cheese!
