So hard to believe we’re already in August! I hope the rest of this sunny season doesn’t go too fast. Here are some images that make me think of summer…
“A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken.” ~James Dent

“Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass on a summer day listening to the murmur of water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is hardly a waste of time.” ~John Lubbock
“Be like the flower, turn your face to the sun.” ~Kahlil Gibran

“A life without love is like a year without summer.” ~Swedish Proverb
“Why do we love the sea? It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think.” ~Robert Henri
long live summer :)
I hope summer continues all throughout this month. Super cute pictures.

Great pictures… if only the summer here wouldn’t consist of 100+ degrees!
Aww so pretty!
I love summer and I don’t want it to end! It’s cooled down so much in the past few days, though… oh no! Beautiful images!

I like the quote yet disagree with it, “A perfect summer day is when the sun is shining, the breeze is blowing, the birds are singing, and the lawn mower is broken.” …I would be happy for the silence but I love the smell of just cut grass. If only silent lawn mowers existed :)
