Honey, about 18% water, is a natural humectant, which means that when it’s applied to the skin it pulls moisture towards your skin and helps retain it. Honey is beneficial to all skin types so consider its addition in beauty products a definite plus and don’t underestimate the benefits of a 1 ingredient mask of pure honey!
Honey mask: simply apply a thin layer of honey to clean skin and leave on for 10 minutes. You’ll be happy to know that this is one mask that is actually very easy to rinse off with warm water.

I use honey for so many things! I’d consider myself addicted to it, LOL, but never tried it as a mask. And it sounds perfect for this time of year. Thanks Annie! xo
I know AllNaturalAnnie is obsessed with this mask. Fact.
ooh i love honey and its scary yet not that scary little makers! i have a dream of being a beekeeper on my own property someday… i should start making a list to make all these dreams come true.
Okay you’re going to roll laughing at this one. Last year or the year before my dad called me at Christmas asking if I’d bring him some buckwheat honey. He heard on some health radio show that buckwheat honey with a dash of cream mixed in and applied around the eyes will ward off wrinkles. I loved my dad so much in that moment. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree :)

Heather, I really hope you make that dream a reality because it’s an awesome one!! Can you just imagine having honey in your own backyard… AMAZING.
