Lemon & Spinach – not only do they taste great together, but when combined, the boost of nutrients is even stronger.
Spinach has a high amount of iron, but it’s plant-based and not easily absorbed by the body. But when you add lemon, its vitamin C changes the molecular structure of the spinach’s iron and ta-da, the iron is more digestible and better absorbed by your body!

My recommendation: saute spinach in garlic and olive oil and finish it off with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice.
wow amazing! No wonder they taste so good together! Thanks
Ah, definitely a favorite combination of mine! Tastes so good and so good for you!
I LOVE spinach! This sounds so good…gonna make it tonight! xo
What?! I did not know this. Thanks, Annie! I will add some lemon to our spinach apple juice tomorrow!
Great tip! I do love spinach but actually don’t think I’ve ever tried it with lemon except as a salad. Sounds delicious.
Wow. This is amazing to know, Annie. Thanks. Hope your week is going well.
Love these two both together and separately! I’m in the mood for sauteed spinach now :)
How interesting….I am so excited to try this tip. Thanks, sweetie. Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend. Muah
What a great fact to know! I always make these together, but I add a touch of butter (not so healthy – but cranks up the flavour).
