When you’re in pain – physically or mentally – there is something very simple you can do to help yourself and you can do it anywhere at anytime – SMILE! Why is this helpful? Smiling releases endorphins and serotonin. Endorphins are the body’s natural form of pain relief while serotonin is a type of neurotransmitter that can positively affect your mood.
I know it might sound too simple or too easy, but usually the easiest and simplest remedies are some of the best. So don’t forget to smile more :)
