Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We just got back from a quick trip to Florida. It was a great weekend filled with family, food, the beach and lots of laughs. We spent three nights celebrating my dad’s 75th birthday with the ultimate celebration on Saturday night when we went on a dinner cruise around Sarasota into the Gulf of Mexico (pic below). It was hard to leave yesterday, but hopefully we’re going back down for Thanksgiving. Speaking of Thanksgiving – fall is definitely in the air!
Have a great start to your week and enjoy the last official days of summer!
I took this with my husband’s iphone as we were going over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge yesterday morning on the way to Tampa Airport. Unfortunately, in the three days that we were visiting this was the only sun we saw, but what a great good morning and good bye to the sunshine state! (An interesting addition to this very “natural” picture: if you look closely, you can see a smoke stack on the horizon line to the left of the sun)
This is right before fireworks went off on Sunday. It was such a great spot to watch from and it was one of the best and longest shows I’ve ever seen! My sister took a ton of pics, which hopefully she’ll be sending me soon to post here…right, Sarah? :)
